The author is your average girl with not so average expectations of herself. At one point in her life and as a reaction to all the world’s negativity, she dreamt of being a freedom fighter and a revolutionary in the quest for social equality. She may not be a Joan of Arc or a Melchora Aquino, but her heart also belongs to her countrymen. This is why she decided to pursue law – her way of repaying the nation for everything it taught her (and for putting her through school at the University of the Philippines).
Her interests include swimming and outdoor sports, collecting and reading books, checking online updates of her favorite sites, eating sandwiches, drinking fruit shakes, reading local news, taking public transport, driving around the city at night, watching movies with family, hanging out with friends and choosing what to wear to work the next day.
Did I mention that she’s also a hopeless romantic who still believes in knights, princes and happily-ever-afters?
